Are you attending VMworld 2018 in Las Vegas, NV?  If so, I invite you to add Veritas to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the companies on VMblog's MUST SEE list this year is Veritas.  Using the Veritas platform, customers can accelerate their digital transformation and solve pressing IT and business challenges including multi-cloud data management, data protection, storage optimization, compliance readiness and workload portability - with no cloud vendor lock-in.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview between VMblog and Veritas to learn what they have planned for the upcoming VMworld 2018 event and why you need to make sure to visit their booth.

VMblog:  As a VMworld 2018 sponsor, how can people find you this year?

Veritas:  At this year's VMworld event, we're a Platinum Sponsor in a sizeable 30x30 booth, and attendees can find us at Booth #1242.

VMblog:  Why should a VMworld attendee add you to their MUST-SEE list?

Veritas:  Attendees will want to come by and visit Veritas to see how we create the total user experience - And we'll be showcasing the latest NetBackup release in the booth.

VMblog:  Can you give VMblog readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this year?

Veritas:  Visitors of the Veritas booth will experience a new simple User Experience. The new NetBackup 8.1.2 makes data protection simple with a web-based user experience to reduce common tasks to 3-4 clicks, self-service access for application and server administrators, and an extensive REST API library to power automation in VMware environments with ServiceNow and other operations platforms. They'll be able to learn how to expand data protection with instant access data inside VMware backup images located on NetApp appliance storage, which includes new deployment options for either master server or NetBackup CloudCatalyst.  They will also see how to get instant business value and data protection with a simple AWS and VMware hybrid solution, as well as simple hyperconverged data protection for VMware with CloudPoint. In addition, we'll be providing demos of Veritas Resiliency Platform and how it integrates seamlessly with VMware technology to move any workload through a single-click to a secondary VMware or AWS target allowing IT to better meet customer expectations.

VMblog:  What should attendees expect to see and hear at your booth?

Veritas:  They will hear from Veritas experts and our partners (including Nutanix, AWS and Pure Storage) will tell you about how we are collaborating to protect data in VMware environments.

VMblog:  How does your company and product fit within the VMware ecosystem?

Veritas:  Veritas has been partners with VMware for over 11 years. During our partnership, Veritas has won four best VMworld awards, has 12 VM content releases, and has 30+ VSAN, VM Certified, and additional features.

VMblog:  What are you looking forward to most at VMworld this year?

Veritas:   Veritas and VMware technologies have various integration. Attending VMworld each year provides insight as to VMware's future direction, as well as it opens the door for Veritas to connect and share our plans with VMware and our mutual partners.

VMblog:  What keeps bringing you back to VMworld?

Veritas:  VMworld is "the" event to participate in if you are in the high-tech industry.  It's a great opportunity to meet up with your existing customers and show them new solutions, prospect potential customers, and collaborate with key partners.

VMblog:  What would you say to prospective attendees who are thinking about attending VMworld but aren't sure if it's worth it or not?

Veritas:  It's the biggest technology event in the industry.  You will see literally every key industry player there.

VMblog:  Attendees always enjoy a good trade show tchotchke.  Are you guys giving away anything special or interesting this year?

Veritas:  Yes! Visit out different demo pods, and stick around for a theatre presentation and you'll have a chance to win a set of BOSE headphones.

VMblog:  Does your company have any speaking sessions during the show?  If so, can you give us the who, what, when and where?

Veritas:  Yes, Veritas has two sessions:

Speaker: Joann Starke, Senior Product Marketing Manager with the Cloud and Resiliency group at Veritas.
