Are you attending VMworld 2017 in Las Vegas, NV?  If so, I invite you to add Turbonomic to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the companies on VMblog's list this year is Turbonomic.  This company helps organizations accelerate their adoption of virtual, cloud, and container deployments for all mission critical applications.  Here's more about the company:

Launched in 2010, Turbonomic delivers a hybrid cloud management platform that enables on-premises and public cloud to self-manage in real-time, thereby assuring performance, lowering cost, and continuously ensuring compliance. The Turbonomic patented decision engine curates workload demand to dynamically control resource supply, maintaining a perpetual desired state of application health.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview with Turbonomic to learn what they have planned for the upcoming VMworld 2017 event.

VMblog:  As a VMworld 2017 sponsor, can you talk about your booth setup or theme this year?

Turbonomic:  As always, it's about our community! We love to connect with folks who are already aware of Turbonomic and to meet lots of new friends at the event.  This is a genuine meeting of great minds all in one place and the visual layout of our booth will guarantee people can find us.

VMblog:  Can you give readers a few reasons why your product or service is considered unique?

Turbonomic:  Our core tenets are assuring workload performance, while utilizing the infrastructure as efficiently as possible for the lowest cost, and while ensuring workload compliance.  Being a hybrid cloud management platform which delivers our solution to every enterprise hypervisor and the most significant public cloud providers, we find that everyone will have a use-case that we can provide value for.

VMblog:  Why should a VMworld attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?

Turbonomic:  There are some great swag items, possibly one of the coolest T-Shirts on the VMworld floor, and lots of demos of the latest features we have around hybrid and public cloud which we are very proud of.

VMblog:  What do you like most about sponsoring VMworld?  Why was this a must sponsor event for your company this year?

Turbonomic:  The folks who come to VMworld are such a huge part of our community.  As the event evolves with how our customers are adopting new technology and methodologies, it's still one of the busiest events of the season.

VMblog:  Can you give VMblog readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this year?  What should attendees expect to see and hear at your booth?

Turbonomic:  Our new UI and UX are big hits with the community and the unmatched ability across hybrid infrastructure is something to see, for sure. There are also going to be some other interesting events happening in the booth which include book signings (with giveaways) and more!

VMblog:  How does your company and product fit within the VMware ecosystem?

Turbonomic:  We deliver performance, efficiency and compliance at every layer of the stack.  Regardless of the size or type of environment, we are able to show value in many ways.  We are agentless and utilize the vSphere management APIs to deliver a seamless and frictionless experience in a VMware environment or any hybrid infrastructure.

VMblog:  What are you looking forward to most at VMworld this year?

Turbonomic:  People.  There is nothing like the opportunity to catch up with old friends, and to meet many new ones.  With nearly 1800 customers today, we know the value of staying close to everyone and to truly build and nurture those relationships.

VMblog:  How has exhibiting at VMworld helped your company's bottom line?

Turbonomic:  A large number of our customers are running VMware as a part of their IT environment.  Being a part of the event over the years has proven to be valuable for learning how people are using VMware products and how well the Turbonomic platform has been able to consistently add value in those environments.

VMblog:  Do you remember your first VMworld event?  What can you tell us about it?  What memories stand out?

Turbonomic:  Being at our first VMworld was a very exciting experience.  Just to see the number of people converging on the event floor is humbling, and as we have changed and evolved our platform along with our customers, it's so great to keep coming back and watching the changes each year.

VMblog:  What would you say to prospective attendees who are thinking about attending VMworld but aren't sure if it's worth it or not?

Turbonomic:  It's most definitely worth the visit because of the opportunity to meet up with peers in the industry and learn from the community.

VMblog:  What do you think we need to do collectively as an ecosystem to strengthen the industry?

Turbonomic:  Making everyone feel welcome and sharing your experiences with them is very important.  Those getting started in IT want to come and take it all in.  Just to be able to listen to their stories and share our experiences is a strong part of why people want to be at this event and others.

VMblog:  What do you hope to come away with from exhibiting at VMworld?

Turbonomic:  Listening and learning.  Being able to get close to customers, partners, and the community to learn how technology is solving business challenges helps us to shape our platform and to help be strong leaders in IT transformation.

VMblog:  Do you have any tips for first time attendees of VMworld that you'd like to share?

Turbonomic:  Spend some time in the community lounge (VMVillage) and meet up with all of the bloggers and vBrownBag team who you probably already know from reading or watching their work. It's not often that this many people from a worldwide community can all be together.

VMblog:  Attendees always enjoy a good trade show tchotchke.  Are you guys giving away anything special or interesting this year?

Turbonomic:  We have some awesome T-Shirts that you will love to wear on and off the floor.  You may even find yourself winning other goodies just from wearing it around the event center! Plus many other things to suit your fancy and send you home with more than what you came with.

##

I've spoken with the Turbonomic team every year at VMworld since they first launched, and I've never been disappointed in the conversation, the message or the technology.  Every year, I see and learn something new from them.  And they really do value the community, so show them some love this year and grab one of their, what I am sure will be, insane T-Shirts!
