VMblog:  If you were giving a VMware Explore attendee a quick overview of the company, what would you say?  How would you describe the company?

Joyce Arias:  Tricerat provides simple, secure, and scalable print management software. Optimized for the most complex IT environments, Tricerat's ScrewDrivers® platform helps you print from any device, in any location, to any printer. From healthcare and manufacturing to logistics and retail, ScrewDrivers is trusted by global brands around the world to manage the most sophisticated print workflows in any environment, including VMware Horizon 8.

VMblog:  As a VMware Explore 2023 sponsor, what does that sponsorship look like?  Will you have a large delegation at this year's event?  Do you have a theme for your booth?  Do you have anything interesting planned at your booth?

Arias:  We're super excited to have a full team of printing experts at our exhibitor booth this year. Our CTO, Andrew Parlette and Lead Architect, Nikolay Nikitkin will be attending and will be able to answer any and all technical questions, as well as provide short demos of our ScrewDrivers platform. We will also have our VP or Sales and RevOps available to discuss the printing needs of your organization. Our theme will be in line with the theme of the entire event - "Where are you in your journey to the cloud?" There will be giveaways, goodies, and booth prizes, so stop by booth 221 to talk to the Tricerat printing experts!

VMblog:  What made your company sponsor VMware Explore this year?  Why is this a must sponsor event for your company?

Arias:  We have been a trusted VMware Technology Alliance Partner since 2007 and we have always found both the partnership and tradeshow super valuable. VMware Explore is always a great opportunity for our team to keep a finger on the pulse of what's happening in the world of VMware while also connecting with others in the technology space.

VMblog:  Can you give us the high-level rundown of your company's technology offerings?  What kind of message will an attendee hear from you this year?

Arias:  Tricerat provides simple, secure, and scalable print management software. Optimized for the most complex IT environments, Tricerat's ScrewDrivers® platform helps you print from any device, in any location, to any printer. ScrewDrivers seamlessly integrates with VMware Horizon 8, extending its native capabilities so users can effortlessly print and scan from any device, anywhere, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Our ScrewDrivers platform is an enterprise print management solution that works in any virtual environment and gives our customers control over their printing environment.

VMblog:  Talking about your product solutions, can you give readers a few examples of how your offerings are unique?  What are your differentiators?  What sets you apart from the competition?

Arias:  ScrewDrivers is the only print management solution on the market today that has a virtual print driver that's not only manufacturer agnostic, but also offers the unique ability to stream native print preferences to the user without any driver requirements on the end points. For over 25 years, Tricerat has been obsessed with providing easy-to-use, efficient, and effective printing tools to empower end users, achieve better business outcomes, and deliver a painless print management experience.

VMblog:  What specifically does your company offer a VMware shop or a VMware implementation?  What problems do you solve for them?

Arias:  Tricerat excels at streamlining printing and scanning operations within VDI desktop environments. ScrewDrivers seamlessly integrates with VMware Horizon 8, extending its native capabilities so users can effortlessly print and scan from any device, anywhere, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. This centralized approach to print management for your VMware Horizon deployment helps with ease of management, reducing printing helpdesk requests, and improve the overall performance/stability of your printing environment.

VMblog:  How does your company work with VMware?  Where do you fit within the VMware ecosystem?

Arias:  Our ScrewDrivers print management solution seamlessly integrates into your VMware deployment.

VMblog:  VMworld has typically been a launching platform for new products.  At VMware Explore, will your company be announcing anything new?  If so, can you give us a sneak peek?  Or, have you launched anything new recently that you can spotlight for us?

Arias:  The needs of organizations and users are constantly changing and evolving, and we strive to continuously evolve our products to meet the needs of our customers and the industry at large. There aren't any major product announcements at VMware Explore this year, but our team is more than happy to speak to attendees about the changes and upgrades that are on the horizon especially when it comes to meeting you where you are in your cloud journey.

VMblog:  VMware gets the big stage to deliver their message during the keynote sessions.  If you were giving the keynote, what big topics would you discuss?  What big changes or trends do you see taking shape in the industry for 2023 and beyond?

Arias:  Although cloud computing has been around for several years, it is still currently one of the hottest trends and topics in the industry with many organizations in different stages of cloud migrations. If we were to give a keynote, we would discuss cloud computing and cloud deployments, and all the effects those changes have on your organization. Of course, our focus would be on printing and how that is affected by your migration to the cloud.

VMblog:  Are you giving away any prizes at your booth or participating in any prize giveaways?

Arias:  Yes, this year we will have Tricerat branded merchandise and will be giving away larger booth prizes as well. Stop by our booth every day for a different chance to win some amazing prices!!
