There's a brand new End User Computing Forum called DISRUPT which is being launched this year across three continents: EMEA, NA and ANZ. The first event in Bremen Germany has already taken place. However, IGEL, the company putting on this fantastic show, is about to launch this inaugural event in Austin, TX in less than two weeks. To get the inside scoop ahead of the event, I spoke with Jed Ayres, President and CEO of IGEL NA and Global CMO.
Have you heard about the DISRUPT event? This is a brand new End User Computing Forum which launched this year across three continents. The first event has already taken place in Bremen Germany back on January 17th. But you still have time to participate here in the US with DISRUPT NA in Austin, TX, February 6-8 at the AMD Corporate Campus. And after that, IGEL is taking the show on the road to Melbourne Australia, March 13-14, at the RACV City Club.
The inaugural event will bring together key industry thought leaders, customers and solution providers to discuss the latest innovations in end user computing (EUC) and workspace management, including solution demonstrations and technical trainings.
"By 2020, we'll see over 50 billion connected devices and this is bringing massive transformation for the EUC market as organization face rising endpoint challenges. From the migration to Windows 10 to endpoint security demands and the need to simplify device management while lowering computing costs, end user computing is fast becoming a top IT priority," said Jed Ayres, President and CEO, IGEL North America. "Our DISRUPT event will be addressing these EUC challenges and more. Featuring top industry thought leaders, customer best practices sessions and deep dive trainings, it will be at the center of the voice for EUC disruption in 2018."
DISRUPT 2018 will feature speakers including Sumit Dhawan, Senior Vice President and General Manager for VMware; Doug Keeley, CEO & Chief Storyteller for Mark of a Leader; and Eva Helen, Founder and CEO for EQ Inspiration. It will also include presentations from EUC thought leaders Brian Madden, Independent Consultant; John Abbott, Co-Founder and VP Infrastructure at 451 Research; and Doug Brown, Global Technologist for IGEL and Editor of DABCC as well as customer presentations from leading corporations including Lockton Companies, Centene Corporation, Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. and Strayer University. Not enough for you? Check out this fantastic list of DISRUPT speakers.
For those looking to be trained and certified to use IGEL solutions such as the IGEL UD Pocket, IGEL Cloud Gateway and the IGEL Universal Management Suite, there will also be Technical Boot Camp sessions. View the full DISRUPT agenda here.
