VMblog:  If you were giving a VMware Explore attendee a quick overview of the company, what would you say?  How would you describe the company?

Aaron Addison:  LG Electronics is a global leader in consumer electronics and business solutions. With a strong focus on innovation, LG strives to make life better and more enjoyable for our customers worldwide. Our diverse product portfolio includes cutting-edge technologies that improve users productivity. As a company, we are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable, and environmentally friendly products that enhance people's lives.

VMblog:  As a VMware Explore 2024 sponsor, what does that sponsorship look like?  Will you have a large delegation at this year's event?  Do you have a theme for your booth?  What do you have planned at your booth?

Addison:  As a sponsor at VMware Explore 2023, LG Electronics will have a prominent presence at the event. Our booth will be designed around an exciting theme that showcases the convergence of technologies and how they integrate seamlessly into modern lifestyles. We have some intriguing products on display where attendees can tap in and interact with our products to get a real feel for a modern EUC experience in their environments. Make sure you swing by our booth as we're doing live game give aways daily.

VMblog:  What made your company sponsor VMware Explore this year?  Why is this a must sponsor event for your company?

Addison:  VMware Explore is an essential event for LG Electronics as it provides a platform to connect with industry professionals, thought leaders, and potential customers worldwide. It allows us to demonstrate our latest advancements, share our vision for the future, and gain valuable insights into the ever-evolving technology landscape. This sponsorship aligns perfectly with our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation and networking with key players in the virtualization and cloud computing industry.

VMblog: What key challenges are companies facing today? What examples can you cite?

Addison:  Cybersecurity Threats and Data Privacy Compliance are what we see companies worrying about most. LG cloud devices with IGEL OS offer robust security features, including secure boot, advanced threat protection, and continuous security updates. The zero-trust architecture we offer with IGEL OS ensures that every device and user is authenticated and authorized before gaining access, reducing the risk of ransomware and phishing attacks. Additionally, LG provides secure and compliant endpoints for environments that require strong encryption, data protection features, and detailed auditing requirements. We help ensure that data privacy regulations are met, and that data is protected during cross-border transfers.

VMblog:  What are you personally most interested in seeing or learning at VMware Explore?

Addison:  As an LG Electronics representative, I'm excited to witness the latest advancements in virtualization and cloud computing technologies. I'm also eager to learn from industry leaders and experts how these innovations can be leveraged to create more innovative and connected experiences for our customers.

VMblog:  Can you give us the high-level rundown of your company's technology offerings?  What kind of message will an attendee hear from you this year?

Addison:  LG Electronics offers a wide array of technology solutions designed to enrich everyday life, from state-of-the-art Cloud-connected products that embody innovation and excellence. Our message at VMware Explore 2023 will focus on how LG's cutting-edge technologies seamlessly integrate into modern lifestyles, creating a more connected, efficient, and enjoyable world for our customers.

VMblog:  Talking about your product solutions, can you give readers a few examples of how your offerings are unique?  What are your differentiators?  What sets you apart from the competition?

Addison:  LG Electronics stands out through its relentless pursuit of innovation, premium quality, and sustainability. Our endpoint devices have set new standards for quality, providing the market with unparalleled user experiences. Additionally, LG's commitment to eco-friendly practices ensures that our products not only excel in performance but also have a positive impact on the environment.

LG has been laser-focused on providing customers with a seamless and intuitive digital environment, which improves their productivity. By partnering with and integrating various software applications into our devices, we have delivered a solution that automates repetitive tasks and streamlines workflows. By leveraging VMware's expertise, we can optimize the performance and compatibility of our products, delivering enhanced value to our customers.

VMblog:  VMworld has typically been a launching platform for new products.  At VMware Explore, will your company be announcing anything new?  If so, can you give us a sneak peek?  Or, have you launched anything new recently that you can spotlight for us?

Addison:  If I were delivering the keynote, I would focus on the future of employees and the pivotal role technology plays in shaping our daily lives. I would discuss the increasing convergence of AI, IoT, and cloud computing and how these trends will revolutionize employee experiences across various industries. Additionally, I'd highlight the importance of technology sustainability, emphasizing LG Electronics' commitment to eco-friendly practices and their impact on our product development.
