Ahead of VMworld 2020, VMblog visited with Ben Murphy, senior director of product management at Lakeside Software, a leader in digital experience monitoring.

In this video, we discuss trade shows like VMworld becoming digital events and what that means, how companies have moved to a work from home lifestyle, and how Lakeside Software operates with VMware as a partner. Watch and learn as Ben Murphy explains more about the company's technology, and offers a view into the product.

Lakeside Software develops software that provides the visibility IT teams need to design and support productive digital workplaces. Customers use Lakeside Software technology to perform workplace analytics, IT asset optimization, remote work management, and AIOps. It captures data such as CPU, disk, memory, and other 10,000+ data points. These are then analyzed by SysTrack and used by IT in countless ways that lower costs and optimize operations including: lowering the amount of help desk tickets, identifying over and under-provisioning, reducing time to resolution, tracking SLA performance, measuring the performance of rollouts, and more.

VMworld 2020 goes digital.  Will you be in attendance?  If the event were physical, I would have looked forward to visiting with Lakeside Software.  So we reached out to them digitally instead.

With the current pandemic, we're seeing a lot of changes taking place in our normal, everyday lives -- both professionally and personally.  One of those changes is the end of physical trade show events as we move to socially distance ourselves from one another.  While some trade shows simply cancelled or postponed until 2021, others have made the switch to a 100% digital format.  VMworld, the world's largest virtualization and cloud computing event hosted every year by VMware, is one of those shows -- enter for the first time ever, VMworld 2020 Digital

While a physical VMworld event would normally have north of 150+ sponsors, a digital VMworld event won't be able to effectively support that number of sponsors.

Lakeside Software is a leader in digital experience monitoring.  Their product, SysTrack, gathers and analyzes data on everything that may impact end-user experience and business productivity. SysTrack captures data such as CPU, disk, memory, and other 10,000+ data points.

So what about you?  Are you gearing up for VMworld 2020 digital?  Get started now by reading this exclusive interview with Heather Bicknell, Product Marketing Manager, Lakeside Software to learn more and start getting excited for what's to come!

What Does Lakeside Software Have Planned for VMworld 2016?

As part of VMblog's live VMworld 2016 coverage coming up later this month, we're in the process of working up our schedules to make sure we can see and learn as much as possible when the show kicks off.  And we're extremely excited to visit the Solutions Expo this year.  But with so many vendors exhibiting, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your schedule?

One of my "must see" companies this year is Lakeside Software.  I had a chance to catch up with their team at Citrix Synergy, and they were showcasing some amazing stuff around their flagship product, SysTrack.  I can't wait to see what they are showing off at VMworld.  More about the company:

Lakeside Software transforms the way that enterprises deploy, manage, secure, improve, and report on end user experience by coupling the world's most lightweight agent with a robust data analysis engine to instantly grant complete visibility and control to administrators without impacting end user experience.  Lakeside empowers EUC teams with comprehensive end user analytics and endpoint telemetry, enabling them to optimize user experience, mitigate risk, minimize cost, automate operational tasks, and make better decisions.

As part of VMblog's live Citrix Synergy 2016 coverage coming up later this month, we're getting our schedule ready to learn as much as we can, as quickly as we can.  Citrix Synergy is always packed with great information coming from various breakout sessions, networking sessions, keynotes and more!  But one of the places we always learn a lot is in the Solutions Expo where valuable vendors from the Citrix ecosystem setup shop to display their wares.

But with so many vendors exhibiting at the show, how do you know who to get on your schedule? And which booths to visit?

I was glad to hear that Lakeside Software was going to be sponsoring the event again this year.  For many years now, I've had the great pleasure of being briefed by this company and being exposed to their flagship product, SysTrack.
