Are you attending VMworld 2018 in Las Vegas, NV?  If so, I invite you to add Pivot3 to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the companies on VMblog's MUST SEE list again this year is Pivot3.  Built on hyperconverged infrastructure, Pivot3’s advanced intelligence engine combines policy-based management, inference and orchestration capabilities, and industry-leading performance to automate management, resource allocation, workload mobility and data placement across hybrid cloud environments.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview between VMblog and Pivot3 to learn what they have planned for the upcoming VMworld 2018 event and why you need to visit their booth.

VMblog:  As a VMworld 2018 sponsor, how can people find you this year?

Pivot3:  VMworld attendees can find Pivot3 at booth 1554. We're in a 20x20-foot booth with three towers showcasing our products and services, in addition to a meeting room for our visitors to chat 1:1 with our team of experts. This year we're excited for another year as an exhibitor and a hall crawl sponsor. Don't forget to come by and grab some Pivot3 Punch at the hall crawl!

VMblog:  Is there anything unique about this year's booth setup?  Do you have a theme?

Pivot3:  Our booth walks visitors through the benefits of intelligence, resilience and simplicity for virtualized application workloads. From improving virtual desktop infrastructures, simplifying the consolidating of enterprise apps, or bringing new intelligence to hybrid cloud, attendees will see how hyperconverged infrastructure is supporting the next wave of digital transformation.

VMblog:  Can you give readers a few reasons why your product or service is considered unique?

Pivot3:  We're a unique player in the market, with industry-leading performance and technology as the backbone of hybrid cloud, Internet of Things and smart city initiatives. Our Intelligence Engine with priority- and policy-based management is unlike anything else available in the market, and compared to other hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.

VMblog:  Why should a VMworld attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?

Pivot3:  IT is under pressure to support greater business agility and responsiveness, so now is the time to prepare with more intelligent infrastructure and solutions. Pivot3 provides 9X performance, 3X VM density, 25% less hardware and 62% lower latency compared to legacy infrastructure and other HCI vendors. Come demo our technology and see how we can support your most complex needs with a smart infrastructure equipped for a software-defined future - plus, stick around for a chance to win gift cards, Apple TVs and PlayStation 4 Pros!

VMblog:  How does your company and product fit within the VMware ecosystem?

Pivot3:  Pivot3 is an Advanced VMware Technology Alliance Partner and OEM partner of vSphere and participates in a number of VMware development and integration programs to provide tight integration with VMware technology and have validated joint solutions that all makes for seamless deployment of Pivot3 and VMware solutions. Pivot3 is a member of VMware's Software Defined Datacenter (SDDC) and End-User Computing (EUC) Integration Programs and integrates with technologies such as VAAI, SRM, PSA, VVOLs and vCenter. We also work with VMware teams to produce reference Architectures such as with VMware Horizon and Horizon Cloud.

VMblog:  What are you looking forward to most at VMworld this year?

Pivot3:  We're eager to meet fellow IT professionals and leaders in the industry, and always enjoy hearing what they're working on and how they're using technology to help their organizations grow.

VMblog:  How many times have you already sponsored this event?  And what keeps you coming back?

Pivot3:  Pivot3 has exhibited at VMworld for the past 7 years, and we keep coming back to meet and connect with industry trailblazers and celebrate the many innovations within our industry.

VMblog:  What do you think we need to do collectively as an ecosystem to strengthen the industry?

Pivot3:  As business services generate more complexity, IT is struggling to keep up. Data is increasing at an exponential rate, and as an industry, we need to provide intelligent infrastructure that can dynamically and automatically assemble to support the evolution of hybrid cloud, IoT and the smart enterprise.

VMblog:  Finally, attendees always enjoy a good trade show tchotchke.  Are you guys giving away anything special or interesting this year?

Pivot3:  Booth visitors will have the chance to win an Amazon or Starbucks gift card by taking a selfie in front of our booth and posting to Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn with the hashtag #VMworld and @Pivot3Inc. We're also giving away sun hats, and will have several drawings to give away Apple TVs and PlayStation 4 Pros.
