NAKIVO Releases v10.1 with Support for Microsoft 365 OneDrive for Business and HPE StoreOnce Catalyst

Written by

NAKIVO Inc., a fast-growing software company dedicated to protecting virtual, physical, cloud and SaaS environments, announced today the release of NAKIVO Backup & Replication v10.1.

The latest release expands the scope of Backup for Microsoft 365 with support for OneDrive for Business and introduces integration with HPE StoreOnce Catalyst. NAKIVO Backup & Replication remains committed to delivering a backup and recovery solution that combines powerful functionality, intuitive design and affordable pricing.

OneDrive for Business Backup

Businesses around the world rely on Microsoft 365 to facilitate content creation, collaboration and more. Nevertheless, businesses continue to believe that their data is safe just because it is in the cloud. The truth is quite the opposite. Unprotected Microsoft 365 data exposes businesses to a range of risks caused by accidental data deletion, security threats, retention policy gaps and legal compliance issues. Backup for Microsoft 365 with NAKIVO Backup & Replication helps businesses to mitigate these risks by offering cost-effective backup and instant recovery for Exchange Online and, now, OneDrive for Business.

"We selected NAKIVO Backup & Replication for Microsoft 365 to back up our mailboxes, and at the end of the migration process, we shall be protecting a total of 110 mailboxes. The possibility to recover entire mailboxes, selected files, and folders, in case of user deletion, is the main advantage that we see with Microsoft 365 backup. In addition, NAKIVO Backup & Replication is easy to handle and we receive great support via online chat," says Lars Weimar, Head of IT at HAM Precision.

With OneDrive for Business Backup, NAKIVO customers can:

  • Perform incremental backups of OneDrive for Business data
  • Recover OneDrive files and folders back to the original OneDrive or other authorized user accounts
  • Search and browse OneDrive backups for specific files and folders for quicker recovery times
  • Protect thousands of users in a single software deployment

HPE StoreOnce Catalyst Integration

Businesses want to reduce backup sizes to cut storage costs and speed up backup times to meet tight backup windows. NAKIVO Backup & Replication now integrates with HPE StoreOnce Catalyst to provide businesses with exactly this capability. HPE offers a product line of powerful StoreOnce backup appliances and NAKIVO Backup & Replication delivers a unified solution for coordinated data protection activities. With Catalyst integration, customers can leverage source-side deduplication directly from the NAKIVO Backup & Replication web-based interface to achieve smaller backups, quicker VM data transfers and reduced network congestion.

Feature Availability

OneDrive for Business Backup is available with a Backup for Microsoft 365 subscription. Backup for Microsoft 365 is licensed per user and includes 24/7 Support. With a three-year subscription, Backup for Microsoft 365 costs just $0.75 per user/month. A Backup for Microsoft 365 subscription can be combined with any edition and license of NAKIVO Backup & Replication.

HPE StoreOnce Catalyst integration is available with perpetual or subscription licenses for Enterprise, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Plus, MSP Enterprise and MSP Enterprise Plus editions.

The 15-day Free Trial gives access to every feature, including Backup for Microsoft 365 and HPE StoreOnce Catalyst integration, and does not have any feature or capacity restrictions.

"With the addition of OneDrive for Business Backup, NAKIVO delivers on the market demand for a Microsoft 365 backup and recovery solution," said Bruce Talley, CEO of NAKIVO Inc. "For customers with HPE StoreOnce backup appliances, we are excited to now offer Catalyst integration, enabling them to realize the storage and time savings offered by source-side deduplication."
