XenTegra CEO on Partnership, Microsoft AVD Strategy & Nerdio Workshops - NerdioCon 2025

Written by

In this exclusive VMblog interview from NerdioCon 2025 in Palm Springs, California, VMblog speaks with Andy Whiteside, President, CEO, and Founder of XenTegra, about their approach to client partnerships and strategic collaboration with Nerdio and Microsoft.

Andy shares XenTegra's unique philosophy, describing the company as a "throwback" to traditional private business values in how they treat both clients and technology partners. Founded 13 years ago, XenTegra's mission is to "engage, listen, and then apply and provide the appropriate enterprise technologies to clients of all sizes"-including nonprofits as part of their commitment to giving back.

The conversation explores how XenTegra addresses the overwhelming challenges their customers face by leveraging lessons learned across implementations and applying that knowledge to benefit both clients and technology partners. Andy emphasizes their role in helping organizations maximize their Microsoft investments, particularly with M365 and Azure.

While XenTegra continues to support traditional virtualization platforms like Citrix and VMware for clients with robust use cases, Andy explains how they're helping customers understand where Nerdio and Microsoft AVD together can provide comparable functionality-allowing clients to get more value from their existing Microsoft investments.

A highlight of the interview is XenTegra's expanded partnership with Nerdio, where they're now leading Nerdio Enterprise Workshops to educate clients on "the art of what's possible." Andy explains this "doubling down" on their Nerdio partnership as a key reason for his attendance at NerdioCon 2025.
