Are you attending KubeCon 2019 in San Diego?  If so, I invite you to add Platform9 to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

KubeCon 2019 is shaping up to be a fantastic event!  And the number of sponsoring vendors at this year's show is extremely impressive as the show continues to grow in scope and size!  One of the companies that will be on VMblog's MUST SEE list this year at the event is Platform9.  Platform9 delivers a SaaS-managed hybrid cloud solution that turns existing infrastructure into a cloud, instantly.  They help enterprises drive digital transformation by enabling them to manage VMs, Containers and Serverless Functions on ANY infrastructure -- on-premises, in public clouds, or at the edge -- with a self-service, simple and unified experience.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview between VMblog and Platform9 to learn what they have planned for the upcoming KubeCon North America 2019 event and why you need to visit their booth.

VMblog:  As a KubeCon 2019 sponsor, how can people find you at the show this year?

Platform9:  Platform9 is a Platinum sponsor, our booth # is P14.

VMblog:  Is there anything interesting or unique about your booth?

Platform9:  In addition to great swag and daily prizes, stop by the Platform9 booth for a cool demo to really experience what it means to be able to run Kubernetes anywhere - without the operational burden.

VMblog:  Thinking about your company, give readers a few reasons why your product or service is considered unique.

Platform9:  Platform9 Managed Kubernetes (PMK) is the only Kubernetes service that ensures fully automated Day-2 operations with 99.9% SLA on any environment: in data-centers, public clouds, or at the edge.

Our unique SaaS Management Plane remotely monitors, optimizes and heals your Kubernetes clusters and underlying infrastructure. With automatic security patches, upgrades, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, auto-healing, and more -- you can confidently run production-grade Kubernetes, anywhere.

Until the conference starts, you can try out the service for yourself or read our Guide to Kubernetes in the Enterprise.

VMblog:  What, if anything, do you think is holding back the container market or its wider deployment?

Platform9:  Simplifying the operational burden of delivering Kubernetes at scale is a key consideration for organizations going through digital transformation. They are looking to leverage open-source modern technologies on top of their existing infrastructure and multi-cloud deployments, without crumbling under the complexity that comes with managing cloud native infrastructure, monitoring, service-mesh, and more.

This is exactly where our unique SaaS-managed delivery model comes in. Our SaaS Management Plane takes care of everything for you - so you don't have to. It establishes a new standard for how "Kubernetes anywhere" should be operated - freeing you to focus on your business and on releasing great apps!

VMblog:  You've sponsored KubeCon in the past... what do you like most about this event?

Platform9:  We did sponsor the conference many times in the past. We find the event to be a great mix of technical attendees and enterprise companies looking to do great things with Kubernetes, at scale. It's exhilarating to hear about what the K8s community is up to and all the great innovation in the space.

VMblog:  What are you looking forward to most at this year's event?

Platform9:  We're looking forward to geeking out with the K8s community about all the innovation in the space, and discussing use cases and best practices for Kubernetes in the enterprise- how to make it easier to manage at scale, how to make it more secure, and how to take the pain out of security patches, monitoring, etc.

We're excited to connect and have great conversations with like-minded people who are betting on Kubernetes to transform their business!

VMblog:  What would you say to prospective attendees who are thinking about attending KubeCon but aren't sure if it's worth it or not?

Platform9:  Kubernetes is the most transformational technology today. It is the #1 enabler for digital transformation these days, and is becoming the "operating system" for cloud-native applications. In short: it's the future of software delivery. If you're at all curious about Kubernetes and accelerating your time to market with new applications and modernizing existing ones- you need to be at this conference.
