Ready for DISRUPT 2023 in Nashville?  Will you be in attendance?  Make sure to visit with Citrix.

DISRUPT is back. Bigger, better and braver than ever before. And this year, they are saying YES. YES to the single most important EUC event of the year - bringing together the leading disruptors of the EUC universe.  The event takes place in Nashville, TN, April 3-5, 2023 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center Nashville.

Get started by reading this exclusive pre-show interview between VMblog and Chris Fleck, VP Product, Tech Ecosystems and Verticals at Citrix.

Citrix

VMblog:  Kick us off by telling the audience a little about the company.

Chris Fleck:  I believe everyone in the EUC industry knows about Citrix. We invented virtual apps and desktops over 30 years ago and continue to be the market and technology leader. As part of a go-private change last year, Citrix is now a Business Unit of Cloud Software Group, a leading provider of mission critical enterprise software. Citrix is investing in customer driven product innovation and shifting to solve Hybrid challenges as well as continuing to invest in the cloud for companies on that journey.

VMblog:  Talk about your technology, what problems do you solve?  And how are you considered unique?

Fleck:  Citix provides the most comprehensive feature set for delivering, managing and securing Virtual Apps and Desktops. Our HDX technology has proven to be not only the best performing UX but also covers the widest range of support for devices, peripherals and apps. Recently we have also expanded to securely deliver Web and SaaS apps with an Enterprise Browser without requiring virtual infrastructure and costs.

VMblog:  How do you partner with IGEL?

Fleck:  Citrix is a long time Partner with IGEL with a close technical and go to market partnership.

VMblog:  What do you plan to show off at your booth at DISRUPT 2023?

Fleck:  We will be demoing the latest Citrix UX, security features like Secure Private Access with Citrix Enterprise Browser, integrations with IGEL and Imprivata tap and more.

VMblog:  What is it that you like about the DISRUPT event?  Why do you believe this is a much needed event?

Fleck:  Disrupt provides a great learning and networking opportunity in real life (IRL). And for Citrix fans a fun bit of Synergy vibe.

VMblog:  What do you attribute to the growing success of End User Computing?  Why has it become so popular lately?

Fleck:  EUC continues to grow because its the best way to secure and manage most applications and data. And the bad guys are not going away. The cost a security breach continues to rise and there is no end insight. Also the support manpower required for modern EUC vs traditional laptops and PC is dramatically lower.

VMblog:  How do you and your solution help with the growth of the EUC market?  Where does your technology fit?

Fleck:  Citrix provides the platform to deliver all apps Virtual, Web, SaaS and Mobile. We partner with many technologies such as IGEL has to extend the security and manageability to the endpoint.

VMblog:  Where do you see the EUC market headed?

Fleck:  We believe the EUC market will be predominantly Hybrid for many years, not only with infrastructure, but also devices, identity, remote and RTO. Also I expect that EUC leaders at organizations will expand their scope and responsibilities to include Web and SaaS apps which now is often managed by other organizations. Most CIOs put User Experience, Productivity and Security at the top of their priorities and the EUC leaders are best equipped to provide these.
