Did you hear? VMworld 2019 is moving... For the last couple of years, the event has taken place in Las Vegas. But now that the Moscone Center is finished with its renovation work, VMware is moving VMworld back to the city of San Francisco for 2019.
The event takes place August 25th to the 29th, which might seem far off into the future; but honestly, it is right around the corner. And creeping up on us each and every day.
If you haven't already started your planning efforts, consider yourself behind! You've missed the early bird registration which ended June 21st. And you've missed out on some of the closer in hotels (in relation to the Moscone Center) which have already been booked up. But, don't let those things discourage you. If you act soon, there's still plenty of time to get registered, scheduled, and be ready to go!
Still not sure if you're going to attend this year or not? Well, here's 10 reasons why you should go to VMworld 2019.
The world's largest virtualization event, VMworld, is right around the corner, taking place August 26th-30th, 2018 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Convention Center. The event is always jam packed with incredible information coming out of the keynote presentations, from the large number of breakout sessions, to the expo hall which is filled with awesome vendors and solution experts from around the world. And we can't forget about the fan favorite -- the VMworld Hands-On Labs.

While at the IGEL #DisruptEUC 2018 event taking place in Austin, TX, VMblog spoke with Shawn Bass, CTO, End-User Computing at VMware. Shawn is a recognized expert in the desktop virtualization industry; and EUC and VDI followers will recognize him from his many presentations at BriForum for many years.
Shawn talks about the IGEL and VMware relationship, as well as VMware's Workspace ONEproduct, a digital workspace platform that simply and securely delivers and manages any app on any device by integrating access control, application management and multi-platform endpoint management.

What Does SolarWinds Have Planned for VMworld 2016?
As part of VMblog's live VMworld 2016 coverage coming up in a few weeks, we're in the process of working up our schedules to make sure we can see and learn as much as possible when the show kicks off. VMworld is the leading virtualization event, and there is no shortage of great information coming out of the keynotes, the breakout sessions, the networking and more. But every year, one of the key places to learn a lot in a short amount of time is the Solutions Expo where valuable vendors from the VMware ecosystem and beyond set up shop to display their wares.
Over the years, VMworld has always had a large turnout of vendors sponsoring the event. And the expo floor always seems massive! With so many vendors exhibiting, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your schedule?
One of those companies on my schedule is SolarWinds. They are known in the IT industry for providing powerful and affordable IT management software. Virtualization administrators know or need to know about Virtualization Manager, a monitoring and management solution that helps with optimizing, identifying and remediating VMware and Hyper-V issues. Definitely get them on your must see list to learn more about this virtualization management software and their other cloud and IT related tools that you might want to include in your toolkit.
SolarWinds provides powerful and affordable IT management software to customers worldwide from Fortune 500 enterprises to small businesses, government agencies and educational institutions. We are committed to focusing exclusively on IT Pros, and strive to eliminate the complexity that they have been forced to accept from traditional enterprise software vendors. Regardless of where the IT asset or user sits, SolarWinds delivers products that are easy to find, buy, use, maintain, and scale while providing the power to address all key areas of the infrastructure from on-premises to the Cloud.
