Are you attending VMworld 2017 in Las Vegas, NV?  If so, I invite you to add HyperGrid to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the companies on VMblog's list this year is HyperGrid.  I really like what they are doing, offering a fully featured public cloud service that's delivered as a full-stack appliance.  Here's more about the company:

HyperGrid is the Enterprise Cloud-as-a-Service leader that simplifies IT for the enterprise by providing consumption based, full stack cloud services on premises. HyperGrid's offering, HyperCloud, uniquely addresses enterprise IT needs by combining IaaS, PaaS, and applications services on premises with security and governance for application management. For DevOps, it delivers lifecycle management and push-button VM, bare metal and container deployments. These capabilities, combined with multi-cloud management and orchestration, all delivered via a consumption model, offer a truly compelling value proposition.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview with HyperGrid to learn what they have planned for the upcoming VMworld 2017 event.

VMblog:  As a VMworld 2017 sponsor, how can people find you this year?  What is your booth #?  Give us the details.

HyperGrid:  We are in booth 1830 which is near VMware's large booth at the show and we are excited to have an exhibitor level sponsorship.  You can see who we are sending and other details here: https://hypergrid.com/vmworld-2017/

VMblog:  Is there anything unique about this year's booth setup?  Do you have a theme?

HyperGrid:  HyperGrid is focusing on two main messages: "Public Cloud Experience, On Premises" and "Transformation Beyond Virtualization", which means for us, Transforming the IT infrastructure, IT consumption, and IT professionals. In the booth, we will have theatre presentations running throughout the duration of the show which showcase customer case studies, use cases, and more technical content as well, so attendees can get a real understanding of HyperGrid.

VMblog:  Can you give readers a few reasons why your product or service is considered unique?

HyperGrid:  HyperGrid provides a public cloud experience, on premises.  The infrastructure is within the data center, but our pay-as-you-go consumption-based pricing model is different from the leasing and subscription.

We provide centralized management of workloads across clouds - on-prem and in the public cloud, providing complete visibility into cloud consumption to help IT control costs, delivering true hybrid cloud and eliminating cloud wastage.  HyperGrid also provides quick and consistent deployment of applications with templates, over 400 available for VM, containers, and multi-tiered applications.

VMblog:  Why should a VMworld attendee add you to their MUST SEE list?

HyperGrid:  HyperGrid's goal is to help organizations achieve true hybrid cloud with the ability to manage and mobilize workloads across their on-prem cloud and across 18 public clouds.  With us, companies get a real cloud experience with the infrastructure on-premises, with pay-as-you-use pricing, so IT can focus on what matters to the business, managing applications and business processes.  The management and maintenance of the infrastructure is done by HyperGrid - so IT is doing what the business wants them to do - focus on projects and activities that bring revenue to the business.

VMblog:  Can you give VMblog readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this year?

HyperGrid:  First, if they follow us on twitter, (@HyperGrid) we are putting out a blog series on what we are going to be showing at VMworld sharing lots of great information.  We will also have technical demos showcasing the simplicity and ease of use of HyperCloud. We are excited to have theater presentations running throughout the day providing overviews of use cases, customer case studies, and joint solutions with key partners.

VMblog:  Is this your first VMworld event as a sponsor?

HyperGrid:  This is our first VMworld!  And we are excited to be attending!

VMblog:  What would you say to prospective attendees who are thinking about attending VMworld but aren't sure if it's worth it or not?

HyperGrid:  VMworld isn't just about VMware anymore. There is now a special focus on cloud and cloud management. With just about all workloads moving to either a private or public cloud in the next 5 years, VMworld is a must attend.

VMblog:  What do you hope to come away with from exhibiting at VMWorld?

HyperGrid:  We are looking forward to bringing the HyperGrid message to attendees at VMworld.  We are ready to evangelize HyperGrid and HyperCloud and educate attendees on what Enterprise Cloud-as-a-Service is.  We also hope to educate attendees on what a Public Cloud Experience, On-Premises is, and why they want it.

VMblog:  Do you have any tips for first time attendees of VMworld that you'd like to share?

HyperGrid:  We hope attendees would take a look at the blogs and attend webinars of the companies you meet at the show ahead of time. That way attendees can make sure they are a potential fit and that they do in fact want to spend time with them. VMworld is a premier conference and that means it is also a big one. Your time is precious, make sure you are spending it wisely.

VMblog:  Attendees always enjoy a good trade show tchotchke.  Are you guys giving away anything special or interesting this year?

HyperGrid:  HyperGrid t-shirts are AWESOME - you want to stop by our booth and get one!!

##

For those attending the show, it sounds like you'll want to visit HyperGrid at Booth 1830 to grab one of those "awesome" t-shirts!  Definitely check them out and see if their on-premises cloud solution is right for you.
