Are you attending VMworld 2019 in San Francisco, CA?  If so, I invite you to add Liquidware to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at VMworld, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the companies on VMblog's list each year is Liquidware.  We've been following them since the beginning, and their technologies have helped to build the EUC market.  With technologies like Stratusphere, ProfileUnity and FlexApp, they help organizations fulfill their VDI and DaaS journey.  Watch this recent video interview we did with Kevin Cooke doing a deep dive into Stratusphere SpotCheck.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview with Tyler Rohrer, co-founder and head of Strategic Alliances at Liquidware to learn what they have planned for the upcoming VMworld 2019 event.

VMworld 2019 is a few weeks away, taking place August 25th to the 29th, 2019 in San Francisco, CA at the Moscone Center.  And once again, VMware and the show sponsors are really bringing the party to VMworld.

There's so much more to VMworld than just breakout sessions and keynotes.  The social and networking side of the event is just as huge!  VMworld attendees have become accustomed to having a good time after the sessions have ended.  And so far, things are starting to take shape on that front, as the opportunities from various vendors are making their way to reality.

NOTE: Most events will require you to take some type of signup action in order to attend.  Yes, even if the event is free.  They need to do that in order to take a proper head count or know when to shut things down if the list grows too big.  These things are generally first come, first served.  So if you are interested, I suggest you sign up if you are available before it is too late.

Did you hear?  VMworld 2019 is moving...  For the last couple of years, the event has taken place in Las Vegas.  But now that the Moscone Center is finished with its renovation work, VMware is moving VMworld back to the city of San Francisco for 2019.

The event takes place August 25th to the 29th, which might seem far off into the future; but honestly, it is right around the corner.  And creeping up on us each and every day.

If you haven't already started your planning efforts, consider yourself behind!  You've missed the early bird registration which ended June 21st.  And you've missed out on some of the closer in hotels (in relation to the Moscone Center) which have already been booked up.  But, don't let those things discourage you.  If you act soon, there's still plenty of time to get registered, scheduled, and be ready to go!

Still not sure if you're going to attend this year or not?  Well, here's 10 reasons why you should go to VMworld 2019.

Big news out of Citrix Synergy this year!  Citrix wants to make the 'everyday employee' user experience better.

At Citrix Synergy, the Citrix annual user conference which took place last week at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Citrix made several announcements over the course of the three day event.  But, the company aimed to make it quite clear that Citrix products should be an ideal option for all users, not just the power users or those in IT.  By the end of day one, it was also clear that Citrix was placing a major focus around the Citrix Workspace product.  If you haven’t seen it before, Workspace essentially provides an organized view of your available applications, documents, messaging, tasks and more; and provides users with secure access to their Web, SaaS, Windows, Linux and mobile apps.

In this video interview, VMblog speaks with Carisa Stringer, senior director of product marketing for the Citrix virtual apps and desktop products, while at Citrix Synergy 2019 in Atlanta, GA.

Carisa Stringer provides a deeper look at some of the Citrix Workspace announcements made at Citrix Synergy. Citrix has added a layer of intelligence into Workspace to take things to the next level. They have also added a new micro app builder into the product to more easily allow users to integrate their applications into the Citrix Workspace environment. Stringer also talks about their work with Microsoft on Office integration, optimizing Teams in a virtual environment, and synchronizing the intelligence to quickly work between the various interfaces, and finally, extending support and benefits to Citrix Workspace with Windows Virtual Desktop capabilities. And Stringer also dives deeper into the explanation of performance analytics now added into Workspace.

Watch as Sridhar Mullapudi provides more detail into the Workspace platform. One of the interesting things announced was building intelligence into Workspace, and building a platform of work. The product comes with a host of micro-apps, but Citrix has built in support for partners and application providers to build their vertical specific needs and apps themselves. And what is going to be happening over the next 6 months. Mullapudi also goes into more detail as to what Citrix is doing within the security space such as the new keylogger blocking technology, as well as what they are doing within networking and multi-cloud.
