CitrixSynergy 2018 Q&A: A Transformed ThinPrint Brings a Host of New Innovative Print Solutions to Booth 406

Written by

Are you attending Citrix Synergy 2018 in Anaheim, CA?  If so, I invite you to add ThinPrint to your MUST SEE list of vendors.

With so many vendors exhibiting at Citrix Synergy this year, how do you know which booths to visit and who to get on your busy schedule?  One of the companies on VMblog's list this year is ThinPrint.  You'll want to visit with ThinPrint experts to discuss the features and benefits that ThinPrint brings to VDI, mobile, cloud and local workstation environments.  Visit them to find out how ThinPrint optimizes printing and lowers costs, allowing users to print successfully and securely every time.

Read this exclusive pre-show interview with ThinPrint to learn what they have planned for the upcoming Synergy 2018 event.

VMblog:  As a Citrix Synergy 2018 sponsor, give us the rundown of your booth setup this year.  How can people find you, what's your booth number?

Henning Volkmer:  ThinPrint will showcase a host of new solutions and make a number of announcements from booth 406 right next to the Citrix booth. We can't share all of the new things, yet, but when the door to the Exhibit hall open just look for the orange wall with the ThinPrint logo. Our team is right there ready to share exciting news or answer any of your questions.

VMblog:  Is there anything interesting or unique about this year's booth setup compared to previous years or events?  Do you have a theme for this year's booth?

Volkmer:  Discover a transformed ThinPrint as you begin your digital transformation at Citrix Synergy:

  • cloud managed, serverless printing to reduce on-premises infrastructure,
  • mobile printing for XenMobile, XenApp and XenDesktop users,
  • security and compliance for GDPR applications,
  • support for SD-WAN and
  • new strategies for Citrix Cloud

VMblog:  What message should an attendee take back with them to their boss after visiting your booth?  How can they internally sell your technology?

Volkmer:  However you decide to change the way you work with the new knowledge from Citrix Synergy, a new ThinPrint is ready to help ensure users can draw on highly reliable and innovative print solutions that support today's and tomorrow's requirements.

VMblog:  Can you give VMblog readers a sneak peek as to what you will be showing off at your booth this year?

Volkmer:  ThinPrint Mobile Print complements your EMM/MDM solution with a professional mobile print management system which covers all of your requirements. The print solution offers perfect printing support for any scenario and ensures productive mobile work thanks to Android and iOS printing to any printer and in any location: www.thinprint.com/mobile-print

VMblog:  What are you looking forward to most at this year's event?

Volkmer:  That's an easy one: The Citrix community. Citrix Synergy is always a great opportunity to see old friend, make new friends, talk about interesting technology and have fun along the way.

VMblog:  Do you have any tips for first time attendees that you'd like to share?

Volkmer:  Come visit us! Plan ahead there are way more interesting and fun things to do than there is time. Focus on what's most relevant for you but also try something new. Use the online networking tool to set up meetings. Be ready for a lack of sleep and lots of information and excitement at the same time.

VMblog:  Attendees always enjoy a good trade show tchotchke.  Are you guys giving away anything special or interesting this year?

Volkmer:  It's spring so we're bringing cool new T-Shirts. There's also an Apple HomePod in our booth that's waiting for a lucky winner and the Citrix Ready Team will raffle off a Philips Hue Smart Lights starter kit among the participants in the official Synergy game.

VMblog:  Are you guys throwing or involved with any type of party during the event?  Can you share the details?

Volkmer:  ThinPrint will sponsor Doug Brown's IGEL Community Happy Hour on Monday, May 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Platinum 7 Ballroom at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel located at 700 West Convention Way in Anaheim, Calif.
